The Katie & Jed Band is the culmination of years of individual experience and shared passion for music, brought to life by the partnership of Katie May Burgett and Jed Wymore. Based in Manhattan, Kansas, Katie and Jed began their collaboration as songwriters, crafting originals.

Drummer, Bobby Hapgood of Lawrence, Kansas and Bassist, Arthur White of Wichita, KS joined the duo, transforming into a full band. With their energetic performances and original songs. Their 2024 singles, including "Heartache Ain't a Hangover," "Rockin' M," "Never the Stayin' Kind," and "Take Me Dancing," showcase their talent, resonating with audiences who appreciate genuine, heartfelt music.

Individually, the band members bring a wealth of experience, having opened for and collaborated with legendary acts like Restless Heart, Shenandoah, Kenny Chesney, and Little Texas. They’ve also shared the stage with stars like Chely Wright, Neil McCoy, and Billy Dean, among others. Their collective résumé spans genres and decades, including time spent with beloved bands such as King Midas & the Muflers, Prairie Winds, Detour, and the Smoky Hill River Band.
